FlashNet Communications offers customers a true money back guarantee. If the customer is not satisfied with the service provided by FlashNet Communications within the first 30 days of initiating their account (i.e., the date the order is placed), the customer is entitled to a full refund of the amount paid for the service. The refunded amount will include any term payment as well as set-up fees and additional services (i.e., additional e-mail accounts and/or extra allocated web space). The refunded amount will not include any physical materials purchased from FlashNet Communications, including, but not limited to, software provided at an additional cost to the customer.

The customer may initiate their refund by calling FlashNet Communications’ Customer Care and requesting a refund in the full amount paid for services after the customer has communicated with FlashNet’s Technical Support Department and has been unable to resolve issues concerning dissatisfaction with their service.

Software

Software, if it is ordered by the customer, is not covered under the same conditions as services provided by FlashNet Communications. To protect software designers and manufacturers from software piracy (theft of software by electronic means), retailers in general will not provide a refund policy for software that has been released from the place of purchase. FlashNet Communications will follow by these same, industry-standard guidelines. Exceptions to this will only be noted in the case of defective software. Any software that the customer believes to be defective must be reported and returned to FlashNet Communications. Replacement software, of the same version, will be provided to the customer if the original software is found to be defective by FlashNet Communications.

Other Physical Materials

Certain physical materials may not be refunded under any circumstances. These may include: videotapes, T-shirts, ballcaps, and any future merchandise sold by FlashNet Communications. Exceptions to this will only be noted in the case of damaged materials in which the damage cannot be attributed to age, neglect or wear.
